The axial channels of the slide piston connect to the pressure chamber through a radial in the piston bore. The cylindrical bore of the housing is connected to the outlet channel on the side of the slide piston facing the control piston via at least one transverse channel. This construction makes larger channels in the slide piston possible for quicker flow to counteract sudden pressure changes on the pit prop. Maintenance and change of seals is simple because of easy dismantling and assembly.
