The jewellery display tray comprises a plate like support with several jewel holders designed to be detachably mounted thereon so that in the event of a sale, the old jewel holder is removed and simply replaced by a new one containing a new article of jewellery. The jewel holders are preferably square flat domes with a peripheral edge which slots into grooves provided on the support. These grooves run parallel and intersect at certain points and form projections whereby each projection is provided with an opening which facilitates handling the holders.
