The impact block may be rectangular in section, with a rib protruding from each large face. One rib is at a higher level than the other and triangular in shape, so that the ribs may act respectively as a wedge in a recess and an abutment surface for a wedge in a supporting member. In another design, the section is that of a parallelogram, with similar ribs so that the block is retained at an angle in its holder. In another design the section is double trapezoidal in shape, with two opposite corners acting as the wedging surfaces.
