Electro-hydraulic signal convertor with conversion of flow heat differences of a control flow into viscosity differences of a working fluid where the viscosity differences are produced by the Peltier heat of a Peltier element as a heat pump between two heat exchangers. A shift of the heat of one hydraulic branch into another results while holding constant the sums of the heat flows and without significant, outside heat introduction. Specifically the working fluid is passed through the heat exchanger in laminar flow. The heat exchanger consists of a parallel of flat capillaries which are thermally and hydraulically connected in parallel and have a large ratio of width to height.
