Intravenous pressure meter comprises a housing with a passage connecting a fluid source to the patient, a closed air chamber, a capillary pipe of which one end is connected to the air chamber to form a pressure-measuring device, a valve chamber connecting the other end of the capillary tube to the passage, an air discharge opening connected to the valve chamber and leading to the atmosphere, and a valve movable between three positions within the valve chamber. The first position allows flow between the passage and valve chamber during normal infusion, the second allows flow between the fluid source and passage to interrupt infusion.
