Mechanical suckling device for young animals, consisting of a water tight housing, filled with electrically heated water, held at constant body temperature by means of regulators where a supply container with feed milk is so arranged that the milk can be heated by the water. The supply container is connected by hose lines to teats, inserted in a housing well, to which is fitted a flat housing section as a lying place for the young animals and this place is also heated by the warm water. The flat housing section also has a soft top layer of rubber. The total device is laterally enclosed by an internally cushioned wooden cladding in the form of a box. The synthetic teats (14) are prepared with vanilla flavouring and are arranged near each other in a flexible wall inserted into the housing where the wall is at a higher temperature than the rest of the housing.
