Support and guide sections are provided for the mono rail vehicle and visible construction parts below the visible vehicle profile and the construction parts below the visible profile are in cross section adapted to the vehicle profile in accordance with aerodynamic requirements. Two main steel supports have their bases connected and these have a steel cladding on their exterior sides curved to meet aerodynamic requirements. The cladding forms a tension unit in conjunction with the main support and the space between the main support and the cladding and between the two bars of the supports is filled with e.g. foam.
