The carrier rail assembly to support the carrier slab for track elements is designed to facilitate the setting up of the curve structure needed for high-speed railways, making it possible to twist the permanent way slab relative to the carrier body, for correct inclination setting. The carrier slab is made of concrete, and there is a concave curved saddle on it corresponding to the tubular diameter of the wide tube which carries it. Lateral reinforcing cantilever arms with sloping surfaces may be mounted on the tube, the saddle on the carrier slab being bounded by corresponding sloping surfaces on both sides. Correction of the curve super elevation is achieved without difficulty.
