The rubbery ABA block copolymer, which may be wholly or partly hydrogenated, may be a block copolymer of styrene, -methyl styrene or chlorostyrene and a C 4-12 conjugated diene. Polymer blocks A may have a molecular weight of 5,000-20,000 and polymer blocks B may have a molecular weight of 20,000-200,000. The layer of ABA block copolymer may have a thickness of 10-5,000 Á and may contain additives that give rise to development of heat in a high-frequency electric field, e.g. carbon black, chloroparaffins, chlorinated polyolefins, polyvinyl chloride, phosphates, glycols and plasticizers. The heating may be such that the intermediate layer reaches a temperature of 100-250‹ C.
