Cpds. are of formula: (where n is 3 or 4; A is the gp. where R', R2 are alkyl (C1-C3) or is pyrrolidino, piperidino or morpholino; or A is: where R3 is alkyl (C1-C3) and Hal is halogen). The cpds. have analgesic, anti-inflammatory, spasmolytic, anti-ulcer, bronchodilator and hypotensive activity, and may be prepd. by treating w-halo-1,2-diphenyl-1-alkanones with the appropriate sec. amines.
