Title cpds. of formula: (where R1 is NH2 or OR where R is 1-4C alkyl; R2 and R3 are H, alkyl or where n = 1-4; R4 and R5 are H or 1-4C alkyl; X and Y are H, NO2, NH2 or halogen), and their acid addn. and quaternary NH4 salts have low toxicity in man and animals. Dosage units of 50-250 mg to a total daily dosage of 50 to 2000 mg may be used in man by oral or rectal administration.
