The generator is connected to a gas pipe, and incorporates a gas inlet valve also connected via an ejector to a perforated mixer for the combustion air, together with a trigger simultaneously actuating the valve and a piezoelectric lighter. It also has a nozzle whose convergent portion acts as the pressurising chamber and is connected to the mixer, while the following divergent portion acts as the combustion chamber and accommodates an ignition electrode connected to the piezoelectric unit.
