Portable elevating conveyor for bulk grain - fits over doors of tipping lorry and pivots to compensate for lorry tipping

The portable elevating conveyor can be lifted and clamped on, or permanently fitted to, the rear door of a tipping lorry. Bulk deliveries can be transferred directly to another container. An opening, controlled by a sliding shutter (54), is cut in the lorry door (10). When the lorry back (3) is tipped, the grain is guided onto the conveyor (1), which is driven by an electric motor. The conveyor is pivoted about its lower end (22) and, as the angle of tip increases, the conveyor position is kept constant using a hydraulic cylinder (24) operated by hand pump. For storage, the conveyor can be locked upright (29).
