Primary fertiliser compsn. comprising a milled natural source of phosphoric acid, water and a binding agent, to which other components of a desired fertiliser may be added in solid or liquid form and incorporated with the primary fertiliser in the drill or spreading machine immediately before use. Components of fertiliser may be stored separately, either as solids or in solution, without special treatment. Components are added to the soil at the exact ratio required when mixed in the spreading machine, rather than by the old haphazard method of several successive application of separate components to the soil.
