The jet body (1) has an axial hole (2) of square section. The lower extremity of the body (3) forms a ferrule permitting this hole to be connected to a liquid supply via a flexible pipe. Near its upper closed end the axial hole has two laterally opening holes (4), (5), each discharging to direction orientating balls (6), (7). The invention covers the inclusion of a cone, directed to the base in the hole (2). This avoids turbulence of liquid in the hole (2). This hole can be triangular, octagonal or any suitable shape. The jet discharges perpendicular to the hole (2). The cone is fixed behind the balls which have outwardly facing projections to improve jet stability.
