Steel strips (3) have a middle part (4), (5) joined by sides (6) which bend at an angle of forty-five degrees inwards. The two ends then bend outwards along a plane perpendicular to the sheets (7) and then at right angles (8) along a plane parallel to that of the sheet. A dove-tailed shaped cavity is thereby formed. The section consists of two dove-tailed planes joined by a flat part on one side; with the flat part on the other side having a gap in it of sufficient width for concrete to be poured inbetween the two sheets. A certain amount of play is allowd between the section and the dove-tailed sections.
