Double skinned collapsible water craft - has skins stretched over rod frame and reinforcing panels between skins

A light craft consisting of a double skin of flexible sheet stretched over a rod frame, has a sloping bottom in the form of a shallow V, with a set of six reinforcing panels (5, 6, 7, 8, 9) sandwiched between the double layers and a further set of three panels (11, 12, 13) along one side and three more (14, 15, 16) along the opposite side, similarly sandwiched. All the longitudinal areas of the abutting edges of these panels are reinforced by reinforcing strips (17a, b, c) attached to the outside. At one end of the craft, are two closing panels (45) with bolts between them which can be used to force them apart, thus tensioning longitudinally the longitudinal rods attached to them.
