Constant pressure system with variable flow - uses variable pressure source with regulator on fluid motor supplying pressuriser

A source of fluid (DFD) is connected to a pressuriser (5) input with its output (SFD) connected to a distribution network (UFD). It also supplies a direct acting regulator (RD) at one input (C). The output of a fluid motor (DFM) is connected to an input (a) on the regulator (RD) whose output (6) is connected to an input (EFM) on the pressuriser. The corresponding output (SFM) is connected to the fluid motor output network (UFM) with a pressurised connection back to the regulator input (d). The regulator is sensitive to pressures on two inputs (c, d) and compensates by adjustment to the pressure to the pressuriser input (EFM) thus maintaining constant pressure in the distribution network.
