Educational toy for the study of geography, comprises at least one blank geographical map. The blank map shows the geographical details but is partially or totally free of inscriptions indicating names of countries, regions, towns, seas, mountains and rivers, etc. With the blank map there is at least one sheet of transparent material carrying such inscriptions which can be transferred from the transparent material oo the map by applying pressure. The sheets of transparent material carrying the names may have the names divided into paragraphs according to class, i.e. names of countries, names of regions, names of towns etc. The names in each class are printed in alphabetical order.
