Metallic support for ceramics firing - of Inconel (RTM) alloy, with surface chromium and aluminising treatment

Metallic support for firing articles of stoneware, ceramics, or earthenware and for high-temp. heat treatments is of Inconel 601 (RTM) alloy, surface treated by a chroming-aluminising process, for resistance to oxidising and S-contg. environments at high temp. and other corrosive media. Pref. the support has a floor plate and upper plate, interconnected by straight supports which have regularly-distributed holders, i.e. projecting wedges, carrier wedges or toothed rails along their whole length, to hold the plane or planar-edged articles to be fired in parallel positions. The supports are suitable for indefinite re-use.
