Stillage for radioactive waste drums - with antitilting structure preventing drums falling off during remote handling

Storage facility for the drums allows a number to be stably stacked vertically and consists of a solid base plate (1) on which the drums (5) are stood, with two side frames (7) a little higher than the drums ans two (8) approx. half the height of the high frames. The interior space is subdivided by cross rails at the same height as the lower side frames (8) into separate "pigeonholes" for each drum. The min. height of the low frames (8) is half the drum height. The frames are reinforced by pillars and struts.
