Neutral to weakly acidic bath-yielding detergent - contg. tenside combination of ethoxylation products having different degrees of ethoxylation

Detergent compsn yielding neutral to weakly alkaline washing liqs. contains, by wt 5-50% of a tenside mixt. consisting of (i) 75-100% of a combination of 2 aliphatic polyethylene glycol derivs of 12-20 C alcohols, alkane-diols, amines, carboxylic acids, carbonamides or sulphonamides in which one ethoxylation prod has av. degree of ethoxylation 2-6 and the other has av. degree of ethoxylation 8-20, and wt. ratio of lower- ro higher ethoxylated cpd is 1:3 to 1:1. and (ii) 0-25% sulphonate- and/or sulphate tensides, 0. 1-30% pH-regulators selected so that compsn has pH 7-8.3 as a 1% aq. soln and the balance standard P-free detergent additives and solid and liq. carriers. The arithmetical total P content of the compsn is 5 wt.% and refers to Na triphosphate as solid carrier. The compsn can be used as a full-, main-, fine- or pre-wash detergent. Sec. effects caused by repeared incrustation of washed goods, are reduced and the compsns can be free from phosphates.
