Aircraft door actuator has a guide path on each side of the door opening and running from one end of it to the other on the inside of the outer skin, on reinforcing elements. A third guide path extends from the opening outward and upward, with one end in the middle above and near the opening and on the inner side of the outer skin, on furtehr reinforcing elements. The paths have first parts near the outer skin, second adjoining parts running inward and upward, and third parts running upward and elongate. Guides are at one end of the door and slide in the guide parts of the two paths. Further guide units are fitted at the other end of the door and slide in the guide parts of the third part.
