Semi-automatic cheese washing and treatment machine - for easy cleaning and handling cheeses of different sizes

Machine for washing and/or physically or chemically treating cheeses, consists of a framework supported on the floor by rollers and feet. A girder supports conveyor belts. The receptacle receives the water or othe rprods. used during the treatment; these are recycled by the pump to the tank at the top of the frame. A plate of corrosion resistant material, carries the star-shaped mechanism with its radii, and the brushes which clean the outside of the cheeses delivered by the conveyor. A row of spraying nozzles regulates the amount of water passing through the machine to the walls and the brushes. A slider adjusts the outflow of the treatment prod. from the tank which is covered by the lid. The machine replaces the tedious manual cleaning operations required hitherto; different cheese can be dealt with by changing standard components such as the cylindrical brushes and the star wheel which moves the cheeses forward.
