A frame (1) is constructed from tubular steel nd has its sides vertical. At the bottom (1') are feet (2), these being adjustable for height. Several branches are taken off the top (4) of the frame, these dropping down vertically and fitted at their ends with a means of illumination (5), which may be of any type. The electrical wiring (7) for these lamps is fed into the interior of the frame through a hole at the bottom and is then concealed. On the vertical sides are hinge pins (3) for attaching supplementary frames and in the same sides are cutouts, or other means, for holding shelves.
