The pole-plates (3) are placed on top of the support up-rights (2) in square formation. Framework plates (4, 4') are then placed on the pole-plates, so that their upper and lower surfaces respectively are aligned. Stepped notches or opposite facing projections may be situated in the pole-plates and framework plates, to interlock them. Cladding tiles (5, 5') are then placed in position so that only their small sides rest on the framework plates. Cement mortar, preferably with synthetic resin added, is then poured into the floor joints to make it self-supporting. The framework plates (4') are half as wide as the pole-plates; whilst the cladding tiles (5') are half as wide as the cladding tiles (5).
