The automatic filling level regulator valve on the outflow of a storage lake ensures that the water level does not fall below a minimum value. The water level is also regulated in the basin below the outflow from the main storage lake. The valve system has a vertical hollow tube which is open at both ends, placed vertically above a vertical opening of the water supply pipe connected to the bottom of the storage lake dam. This opening is accommodated under the level of water in the basin. The vertical pipe accommodates a float which reduces the bore of the vertical pipe and this immersed body is arranged at such a level that the underside of this body is below the minimum water level when the valve is closed.
