Fungicidal against contain as active ingredient an effective amt. of a cpd. of formula (I) or (II): (where X is halogen, lower alkyl, CF3, OCH3, OCH3, OC2H5, SCH3 or SC2H5; n is 0, 1, 2 or 3; Z is O or NOH; R3 is H, halogen, OH or lower alkyl; and R1 and R2 are H, halogen or lower alkyl; provided that X in the 6-posn. is halogen when R3 is OH), opt. together with dispersible carriers. The cpd. (I; Xn = 6,8-Cl2, R1 = H, R3 = CH3, Z = NOH) (Ia) is new and claimed. (I) and (II) are antifungal agents with a wide range of applications.
