摘要
Medicaments for treating acute and chronic disorders due to radioactive radiation comprise a mixt. of (a) and alpha1-glycoprotein complex; (b) a lipoprotein complex; (c) an kallikrein inhibitor polypeptide; (d) thiamine diphosphate; (e) L-tryptophan; and (f) L-arginine. The medicaments have about the same effectiveness as frozen bone marrow, but are only 10% as expensive, can be administered much more quickly (ca. 5 min.), and can be administered at any time within an hour of exposure; they have no detrimental side effects; they have a long shelf-life (up to 3 years at room temp.); they act particulalry on the haemorrhage syndrome, which is the most serious factor in human radiation sickness.
