Cigarette sorting system - produces measurement signal of value to be quantified controlling transport to destination

The system incorporates a moving beam delivering the cigarettes to a device detecting the value in each to be quantified, and a generator is connected to this device to produce a measurement signal which is a function of the value detected. An indicator unit reacts to this signal, producing an appropriate instruction signal to a transporter which delivers the cigarette to the appropriate destination. Arrival at the destination coincides with the appearance of a measurement signal. The instruction signal is not produced unless the measurement signal is of a predetermined value and the cigarette is at the destination.
