The latches may be provided at the centre as well as along the edges of the upper and lower portions as shown in Figs. 2 and 3. To facilitate separation of the cartons from a stack prior to filling spacing knobs 35, 35SP1/SP, 35SP11/SP, Fig. 12 are formed at the corners of each portion the knobs being shaped so that the top dimension b is larger than the bottom dimension a thereby ensuring a gap c.
