Triazolyl-alkanones or triazolyl-alkanols of the formula IMAGE (I) in which R1 is alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or substituted aryl, and R2 is hydrogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or substituted aryl, or R1 and R2 are joined to form an aliphatic ring, and A is a keto group or a CH(OH) group, or a salt thereof which possess fungicidal, microbicidal and plant-growth regulating properties.
