The fastener is particularly for brassieres, and is composed of a section of strap with mushroom headed fasteners. The chain wires in the section without the fasteners are crinkle wires and staggered in the armoured portion towards the fasteners so as to engage 4 to 8 times, then miss 1 to 3 times, then engage 1 to 3 times, then miss 1 to 3 times.
