The lamp has a supporting bracket (a) connected to lighting bodies (c), typically six in number, by means of arms (b). The bracket and the bodies can each be of minimum cross-section, thus giving radiation of a type which does not interfere with laminar illumination. The bracket can be arranged to rotate about two axes with the aid of an interchangeable handle, so that it is adjustable in all directions. A halogen lamp with built-on reflector can be used as a light source, in conjunction with a collector lens. Transverse drillings can be provided for ventilation of the light source, thus preventing dazzling while working, the housing under the lens being extended with the same object.
