Granular protein-rich food prodt. is made by forming a mixt. of (a) 57-97 pts. fat-free dried milk solids, (b) 0.5-30 pts. edible fat, (c) 0.5-10 aromatic matl(s). and (d) 2-5 pts. water, into 0.2-3 mm. granules. Prodt. is suitable as a protein-rich food supplement for use in the developing countries, which can easily be incorporated into the normal diet and which need not be made up with water before use and which is cheaper and more acceptable than e.g., mfd. prodts. such as 'milk biscuits' etc.
