Formation of a measuring voltage produced in a strain gauge bridge with a frequency which is a function of the measured voltage. The measuring voltage is connected to a voltage-frequency converter. The voltage-frequency converter is alternately connected to the measuring voltage, a supply voltage and a zero voltage. The input of the voltage-frequency converter can be connected to the measuring voltage via a switching circuit via a logic control circuit. It can also be connected to the zero voltage. The output of the voltage frequency converter is connected to the input of a phase detector. The output of the voltage-frequency converter is compared with a normal frequency signal.
