Plated interlock knitted fabric for cotton lined garments - aesthetic appearance, dispensing with need for complicated dyeing techniques

An interlock fabric is knitted from crimped synthetic yarn, plated on its back side with cotton yarn of a different colour from the synthetic yarn which is of such a fine gauge that the front surface is not close and the cotton threads show through. The cotton or mixed yarns are coloured white or grey and the crimped yarns are blue. Gives a special aesthetic effect in keeping with the jeans fashion, without loss of the merits of knitwear.
