The machine has a frame with a main beam for coupling to a tractor and one or more end beams, also a number of rotors on vertical axes and equipped with cutter blades. The main beam has coupling points for the tractor three-point linkage and the end beam slews on the main one on a vertical axis. It can be lockable in position at right angles to the direction of travel, to form an extension of the main beam past the side of the tractor, while its axis is situated within the tractor track, so that when swung through 90 deg. or more nothing protrudes beyond the tractor sides when travelling along the road.
