1363878 Grinding SKF INDUSTRIAL TRADING & DEVELOPMENT CO BV 8 Dec 1971 [8 Dec 1970] 57094/71 Heading B3D [Also in Division H2] An electric power operated tool such as a hand held grinding tool comprises a resiliently deformable housing 1 of, for example, plastics material in which the stator 2 of an electric motor is resiliently supported by rubber blocks 8 or an annular resilient member, the rotor shaft 4 of the motor extending from one side of the stator and out through an opening in the housing and being supported by bearings 6, 7 in the stator and a further bearing in the opening. The further bearing may be resiliently supported in the opening by means of a cup (13), Fig. 3 (not shown) formed with a corrugation (15) between the bearing and the opening or attached to the opening by a rubber element.
