1473284 Revolving chair K G NYSTROM 12 May 1975 [20 June 1974] 19818/75 Heading A4J [Also in Division F2] A turn-table assembly for supporting a revolving chair comprises a lower rigid plate 10 and an upper rigid plate 11 rotatably supported on the lower plate, which are connected to each other by means of radial bearing 15 and axial bearing 16 extending radially outside radial bearing 15; the former 16, comprising two axially opposed rings 22 and 23 which are non-rotatably connected to plates 10 and 11 respectively, and an intermediate ring 25 placed between the outer rings 22 and 23 and the intermediate ring 25 is provided with axially projecting flanges 26 to maintain the ring in position between 22 and 23. The upper plate 11 is preferably provided with upstanding brackets 13 on which the chair may be mounted. The lower plate 10 may have mounting studs 12 on its lower side for mounting in non-rotatable position on a suitable base.
