The equipment secures the hollow profiled section to another component, preferably also a hollow profiled section, at an angle. A component is inserted in the first-naked section (1), having two wings (9a, 9b) joined to each other by a central section (5), and this component can be attached to the second-named section (7). The wings can be expanded, and have pressure faces (4a, 4b) engaging with the first section (1) internally, under the action of a wedge-shaped piece (11) driven in through an opening in the profiled section and acting against ramp faces on the insides of them. The ramp faces and the opening press the first profiled section against the second one as the piece is driven in, the components remaining assembled by friction only.
