The household mixer includes an easily removable yet locally fixed bowl (11) with a bearing sleeve (12) and full-length bore (13) inserted concentrically in its base and fastened in fluid-tight manner to the bowl (11) by a nut (14). A coupling shaft (15) is mounted in the bearing sleeve (12) and is provided with an annular groove (24) for receiving the rubber-elastic sealing ring (25) which is supported by its outer edge (29) against the bearing sleeve (12) and by its inner edge (31) against the coupling shaft (15) so that the ring guarantees a perfect seal without supplementary means. The sealing ring which adjoins the wall of the bore of the sleeve holds the coupling shaft axially in its operative position from which it can however be readily removed by applying a comparatively slight pressure against the holding direction.
