Machine cutting imprinted band into tickets - cinematic link between cutter bearing rotating drum and band feeding rollers

A machine which cuts a printed band (3) into tickets, designed to improve the phasing of the cut between printed sections, is of the type of machine utilising pairs of rollers (1, 2, & 7, 8) in opposition feeding the band to a rotating drum (11) bearing mobile cutters (12) and static cutter (14) arrangement. There is a cinematic link (21) between the cutter bearing drum (11) shaft and the shafts of the adjacent pair of feeding rollers (7, 8), ensuring the desired phasing of cuts. The drum shaft is driven via the machine main shaft (4). A train of gear wheels may be used to form the cinematic link (21).
