In a process for the mfr. of a textile matl., such as carpetings, a network of metal wires is introduced into the body of the fabric, with the wires in contact with each other at the crossing points of the network. The metallic network conducts any electrostatic loading from the surface of the fabric, to be dissipated by the electrical resistance of the net.
