The aid for drawing an object in perspective, uses a frame (10) which can be mounted in supports (14) so that it be placed on a surface such as a table, with the object behind it, and which can be tilted to an angle at which the object can be viewed from the other side through the frame, and on the frame is secured a transparent sheet (11) with a grid marked on it so that parts of the object can be lined up with the grid lines. The object can then be directly drawn on a transparent sheet placed over the grid sheet, by visual observation.
