The chess board for use by three players simultaneously consists of three times thirty two fields, and is made in a six cornered shape and has three symmetric lines. The fields are subdivided as seen from any one player with their horizontal rows into letters and with their vertical rows into numbers which ensures that each field has a clearly definable position, making it possible for any movement or games to be described by naming the figure involved and detailing the position change by detailing the field numbers. The invention makes it possible for three players to play chess according to classical chess rules with any one player playing against two opponents.
