The container (1) to catch the fruit is rectangular with rounded edges and is made of rigid plastic or light metal. The top third of the container has a side opening (2) as inlet for the fruit. The rake (3) is positioned at the top edge (4) of the container (1). The prongs (5) of the rake point towards the opening (2). The top edge (4) has teeth behind the rake (3). The pivoting bracket (8) is fixed by bolts (11) to the lengthwise sides (7) of the container (1). The bracket (8) and handle (9) are fixed to the container (1) by means of a clamping screw (10).
