In selection of operational data for mfr. of press-moulded sheets deviation from a theoretical (rated) curve of the counter-pressure exerted by the sheet being press-moulded, during compression and curing, is utilised for controlling the operational data for the raw matls of the successive sheet. The operational data concern e.g. humidity content of component woodchips, particle size distribution, and even spread of the chips just upstream of the press.
