Use of magnesium, sodium phosphate as fertilizers

Mg.Na phosphate is used as fertiliser salt containing water-insoluble Na, Mg, and P. Decomposability may be adjusted from 10 to 50% by differential drying. Fertiliser pref. also contains other major nutrients, i.e. N, P2O5, K2O and/or CaO and opt. trace elements. This makes it possible to provide plants with necessary amount of Na without affecting yield of plants. (e.g. maize) not requiring this element and without detriment to soil structure. Cpd. is insoluble in water but readily soluble in dilute acids and these elements are completely available to plants.
