The bogie is able to rotate relative to the wagon body about a vertical axis and it can float in the transverse direction, and the connection ensures smooth and noiseless travel. Longitudinal forces are transmitted from the wagon body to the bogie frame by longitudinal ropes connected to the wagon body by springs and to the transverse beam of the bogie. Two rollers made from noise damping material roll in the vertical direction against the vertical support faces on the bogie. These rollers rotate about shafts held on the wagon body.
